i finally bought a journal tonight. its huge and cool. im excited. no.not excited, eager. great word. (i must credit jess for that one.) im watching movie trailers tonight. im telling you all, you should definitely do that. its so cool to know what is coming out soon and it is always a conversation starter.
i made a list of books that i want to buy at barnes and noble. excuse me, i meant books i want to read. it never fails that everytime i go to a book store i dont buy one book. i just cant bring myself to buy something i wont always use. cause i havent even read it yet. who knows if ill want to read it again. i just dont need it. because its at a library, somewhere.

anyone else in an identity crisis that only God can resolve?

(wishing I was) Reading: Brunelleschi's Dome by Ross King
Listening: Switchfoot
Wearing: a mid-drift revealing shirt that says spandex on it (among other things)
Wanting: peace, an open heart, and a good hug
Sporting: a goofy 3/4 fro than desperately needs grooming
Needing: the exact same thing im wanting

love is so interesting. wait. thats not where i want to go. have i talked about motives on here before? i know a lot of stupid questions to ask. and guess what...they are natural to me. for instance: why did i enjoy being with my cousins and my aunts and uncle this week? are you an idiot? you ask... umm, its because they are your family. well i say that I have never felt this close to them before, or the desire to be so close. and you may say: well thats because you are getting older and some things are becoming more important that they used to feel. fine. thats vague. cant be measured. not specific, but fine. i can deal with that. is it just me wanting to feel close to someone and since i already have this given relationship idea with them called family it just makes it that much easier for me to get close to them. i mean dont get me wrong. thrilled to have feelings about these special people in my life. and it may be dumb to ask why. or why now, but none the less, i cant help that this comes to mind.

its my theory that stupid questions like that that dont necessarily have a speciic answer are planted in my head by satan. God has put within me certain things that im supposed to feel and experiences as gifts. and im sitting asking why it works that way. well yay for critical thinking and intelligent college questions, but im tired of ruining gifts from God with my forsaken questioning and skepticallity. im tired of thinking. sure, thats dumb. but for now, i want to stop thinking and just focus on other people. (poses another why question: why am i wanting to do that? cause it makes me feel good cause im not a mental case when im too busy serving others and doing God's will? and by the way, am I serving God because it improves my life or because I love the One who IS?) i freaking hate school. i hate greek. i dont want to be bogged with crap. im tired of pressure. i want to be joyful. i want to trust. surely this is not the point. i really suck at taking it easy sometimes. theres 2 kinds of taking it easy. you can take it easy in the freedom because of Christ sense of the phrase, or you can take it easy in the not caring sort of way. im fairly talented at the not caring one, but even then i find that huge stick up my butt that makes me be so freakin anal about some stuff and makes me worry all the time.

haha. people are gonna read this. anyone got any suggestions on how to hone my feeler side and chill my thinking side out sometimes? cause i think my feelers got chopped off or numbed or something that sucks cause i am a crap feeler about some stuff. but then again its like 1 in the morning and a lot of times im just an idiot at this time of night. maybe ill just shut up and go to sleep and wake up and beg the Lord to make me better than I am.

ok. so i dont post.
first things first. thank you to my loyal readers who have continued to check this. because you must be people who i care about, i will value your opinion on this request:

if you have the time, or even the slimest of desires, would you please remind me of one of your favorite posts of mine. i am very interested in re reading some of them, so if you happen to remember one, or even just push last 5 like 15 times and then pick, please do. i would appreciate it. it is good to know what people like about you, and for you to be reminded of how people percieve you. you all are my good friends. (example posts that are quite good: Nov. 16th, 8th, 3rd & Oct. 14th. yes. they are all in a row.)

so cheyenne medders used to play at MO sometimes and i didnt dig him. however, he played last night and i really enjoyed it. i think i will buy a cd. even though it doesnt have my favorite song that he played on it. bummer

i have a cell phone. find me and get the number.

I know that you know God loves you. You also know that Jesus came here to say He loves you and that it's ok that you can't get it. Please live like you know that stuff. Stricly knowing it is worthless. This is all there is. Don't waste your time forgetting. Trust in God. He is faithful.
